Please pass my thanks on to Bruce for his excellent diagnostics. On his advice I checked both butterflys with a torch and both were bleeding light. I adjusted them to seat properly and was then able to balance the carbs perfectly and get it to idle nice and slow. It runs beautifully now, very smooth and responsive. Some months ago I bought a set of HB Junior panniers from you (the larger size). & fitted them to my ’81 BMW R100 after packing & modifying the frames as directed by yourselves. Totally successful, & I have been extremely impressed with the HB quality!
