Land Management Rangers

In April 2014, almost 30 Aboriginal Rangers and Ranger Coordinators, from five different ranger teams within the Southern Rangelands of Western Australia gathered, camped, trained and shared information with each other for the very first time at the former Credo Station. The purpose of this training camp was to address the difficulties they've had accessing training in their own communities.

The GLSC is an association of Aboriginal people from Western Australia’s Goldfields region. It was established in 1984 as the peak Aboriginal land and heritage body in the region.

The GLSC’s corporate vision is to consult with and effectively represent Aboriginal people within its region, particularly with regard to the achievement of meaningful native title outcomes and other land justice initiatives, while performing its functions under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth).
